Commands: Tickets and modmail
Tickets let your members reach the staff privately.
Tickets let your members reach the staff privately.
Tickets
+ticket settings opens the panel: you put a menu or buttons on a message of your choice, and each option opens a private channel in its category, visible to the roles that have access. You also set the number of tickets per person, the closing of inactive tickets and sending a transcript by direct message when a ticket closes.
In a ticket, the staff can:
+claimtake it over (the other moderators can then no longer see it, or no longer write in it);+add @memberand+del @memberadd or remove someone,+rename namerename it;+close reasonclose it.
Modmail
Modmail opens a ticket when a member writes to the bot by direct message. +modmail turns it on and sets its category and the roles that answer, anonymously if you like (the member then doesn't see who answers). +openmodmail @member opens a modmail with a member: they only see it at the first message you send.
The step-by-step guide
Setting up tickets walks you through it.
+modmail
+modmail: Configures modmail on the bot (modmail can only be used on one server)*
The panel turns modmail on and sets its category, the roles that answer (anonymously if you like: the member doesn't see who answers), and the roles that can or can't open one. A member opens a modmail by writing to the bot by direct message; at the opening the bot tells the staff how to answer. The bot's owners can't open one.
+ticket settings
+ticket settings: Configures the ticket feature with an interactive menu
The panel puts a menu or buttons on a message of your choice. Each option has its category, its roles with access, its opening message and, if you like, a custom command run at the opening. You also set the number of open tickets per person, the closing of inactive tickets, the deletion of closed tickets, the transcript sent by direct message, the claim mode, and closing the tickets of a member who leaves the server.
+claim
+claim: Claims management of a ticket
Depending on the panel's setting, the other moderators no longer see the ticket, or can no longer write in it. You can't take over your own ticket.
+rename
+rename <name>: Renames a ticket
Type it in the ticket. Discord allows 2 renames every 10 minutes: past that, the bot tells you how long to wait.
Example: +rename refund
+add / +del
+add <member>·+del <member>: Adds or removes someone from a ticket
Type it in the ticket.
Examples: +add @member, +del @member
+close
+close [reason]: Closes a ticket
The command works in a ticket as in a modmail. The reason is written in the ticket logs, with the transcript; depending on the panel, the member also gets the transcript by direct message and the channel is deleted.
Example: +close problem solved
+openmodmail
+openmodmail <member>: Opens a modmail ticket manually with a member (This member will not be notified until a message is sent in the ticket)
The member sees nothing until you have written to them. The modmail access roles can use it too.
Example: +openmodmail @member
