A restricted emoji can only be seen and used by some roles: +restrict keeps it for them, +unrestrict gives it back to everyone.

The step-by-step guide

Emojis and stickers walks you through it.

+restrict

  • +restrict <emoji> <role>: Restrict an emoji to be accessible only to members with certain roles

Members without one of the roles don't even see the emoji. You can give several roles; only the server's own custom emojis can be restricted.
Examples: +restrict :emoji: @VIP, +restrict :emoji: @VIP @Booster

Default level: Perm 3

+unrestrict

  • +unrestrict <emoji>: Makes an emoji accessible by everyone on the server

You can give several emojis at once. To only change the roles that have access, run +restrict again with the new list instead: it replaces the old one.
Example: +unrestrict :emoji:

Default level: Perm 3

The levels and names shown are the original ones: your server may have changed them (permissions, +alias). Every Gestion V2 command
