Two ranks manage the bot on all its servers:
- The buyer is its owner, the one who bought it. They have every permission, and only they manage the owners.
+buyer @membertransfers the bot to them, after confirming with the recovery code: you then lose your rights on it for good. - The owners have every permission except managing owners.
+owner @memberadds one,+unowner @memberremoves one,+owneron its own lists them,+clear ownersremoves them all. Give this rank to a few trusted people.
The bot leaves by itself a server where none of its owners is. With +secur invite on, it also leaves those its buyer isn't on.
The step-by-step guide
The bot's permissions walks you through it.
+buyer
+buyer <member>: Transfers the bot to another user, who becomes its buyer
The new buyer becomes the bot's owner. The bot first asks for the recovery code; afterwards, you lose your rights on the bot for good.
Example: +buyer @member
+owner
+owner <member>: Adds an owner to the bot, granting them all permissions on the bot+owner: Shows all owners of the bot
An owner has every permission on every server of the bot, except managing owners. Give them by their mention or their ID only: for safety, a name isn't accepted. Kept for the buyer.
Examples: +owner, +owner @member
+unowner
+unowner <member>: Removes someone from the bot's owners
Give them by their mention or their ID only: for safety, a name isn't accepted. Kept for the buyer.
Example: +unowner @member
+clear owners
+clear owners: Removes all owners from the bot
Nobody is an owner any more; only the buyer keeps control. Kept for the buyer.
+secur invite
+secur invite <on/off>: Configures whether the bot should leaves when someone invites it on a server where the buyer is not
The bot already leaves any server where none of its owners is. With on, it also leaves those its buyer isn't on.
Examples: +secur invite on, +secur invite off
The levels and names shown are the original ones: your server may have changed them (permissions, +alias). Every Gestion V2 command
