Everything that happens when a member joins the server: welcome message, ghost ping, and verification against bot accounts.

The step-by-step guide

Welcoming new members walks you through it.

+join settings

  • +join settings: Configures actions to take when a member joins the server

Messages: a welcome message in the channel of your choice, which can delete itself after a few minutes, and a direct message; +help msg lists the variables. Instead, a custom command (+custom) can run.
Ghost ping: the bot mentions each new member in the chosen channels, then erases the mention at once.
Security: the member gets the member role after a verification (a button to click, added on the message of your choice) or a captcha (that button shows a picture with a code to type in; a wrong code kicks them). A maximum time kicks those who haven't passed it, and a log channel follows the failures. The bot doesn't hide your channels itself: keep them for the member role.
With "Send join messages after completing security steps", the welcome message and the ghost ping wait until the member has passed it.
