The automoderation deletes forbidden messages without waiting for a moderator. Each protection is turned on separately:

+spam allow #channel and +link allow #channel turn the antispam or the antilink off in one channel, deny turns it on in one channel even when it is off elsewhere.
Members who have a bot permission (Perm 1 or higher) are not affected. +change link 3 keeps that exception to Perm 3 for the antilink (the same goes for spam, badword and massmention).

Automatic sanctions
Every offence is added to the member's history (+sanctions). If you set up punishments, it also gives them strikes, and the bot sanctions them when they pile up too many:

  • +punish add 3 1h tempmute 10m: 3 strikes within 1 hour give a 10-minute mute. Possible sanctions: mute, tempmute, kick, ban and tempban, 5 punishments at most.
  • +punish shows the list, +punish del 1 removes the 1st one.
  • +strikes shows the strikes each offence gives: 1 for an established member, 2 for a member who joined less than 1 hour ago. +strikes spam 3 new changes that number for new members, +ancien 1d the time it takes to become established.
  • A warn also gives 1 strike.

+punish setup replaces your punishments with a ready-made, rather strict list: every offence mutes for 20 minutes, a 2nd one within 2 hours mutes for 2 hours, a 2nd one within 10 minutes bans for 1 day. A new member gets 2 strikes at once, so their first offence bans them for 1 day.

The step-by-step guide

Automoderation walks you through it.

+antispam

  • +antispam <on/off>: Turns on/off Antispam
  • +antispam <number>/<duration>: Sets the maximum number of messages allowed during a number of seconds

A member who sends too many messages too fast sets off the antispam: 5 messages in 5 seconds by default. +antispam 6/10s changes it to 6 messages in 10 seconds; the second part is a duration (10s, 1m…). The bot then deletes the messages the member sent within that time, warns them and adds it to their history.
Members with a permission (Perm 1 or higher) are not affected; +spam turns it off or on in one channel.
Examples: +antispam on, +antispam 6/10s

Default level: Perm 3

  • +antilink <on/off>: Turns on/off Antilink
  • +antilink <invite/all>: Selects if Antilink is triggered only by Discord invitation or by all links

invite (the default) blocks invites to other Discord servers, those to your server stay allowed; all blocks every link. Edited messages are checked too.
Members with a permission (Perm 1 or higher) are not affected; +link turns it off or on in one channel.
Examples: +antilink on, +antilink all

Default level: Perm 3

+badwords

  • +badwords <on/off>: Turns on/off Antibadword
  • +badwords <add/del> <word>: Adds/removes a word from the badwords list

A word can also be a phrase. Only the whole word counts, whatever the case: forbidding "cat" doesn't block "category". Edited messages are checked too, and removing the last word of the list turns the antibadword off.
Members with a permission (Perm 1 or higher) are not affected.
Examples: +badwords add insult, +badwords on, +badwords del insult

Default level: Perm 3 · Other names: +antibadword, +antibadwords, +badword

+badwords list

  • +badwords list: Shows the badwords list

These words are added and removed with +badwords add / del.

Default level: Perm 3 · Other names: +badword list

+clear badwords

  • +clear badwords: Removes all words from the badwords list

The antibadword stays on but blocks nothing while the list is empty.

Default level: Perm 3 · Other names: +clear badwords list, +clear badword list, +clear badword

+spam

  • +spam <allow/deny/reset> [channel]: Turns off or on Antispam in a specific channel (reset synchronises the channel with the global Antispam setting)

allow turns the antispam off in that channel, deny turns it on there even when it is off elsewhere, reset makes it follow the server setting. Without a channel, it is the one you're in.
Examples: +spam allow #games, +spam reset #games

Default level: Perm 3

  • +link <allow/deny/reset> [channel]: Turns on/off Antilink in a specific channel (reset can be used to synchronise the channel with the general Antilink setting)

allow turns the antilink off in that channel, deny turns it on there even when it is off elsewhere, reset makes it follow the server setting. Without a channel, it is the one you're in.
Examples: +link allow #partners, +link deny #general

Default level: Perm 3

+strikes

  • +strikes: Displays the number of strikes received for each bad action, depending on whether the member is established or new
  • +strikes <trigger> <number> [old/new]: Changes the number of strikes received for a bad action

On its own, +strikes shows the strikes each offence gives (spam, link, massmention, badword) for established and new members: 1 and 2 by default. To change a number (100 at most), give the offence then the number; add new (or recent) for the new members' column. Strikes only matter if punishments are set up (+punish).
Examples: +strikes spam 2, +strikes link 3 new

Default level: Perm 3 · Other names: +strike

+ancien

  • +ancien <duration>: Sets how long a user should be on the server before counting as an established member

A member who joined less than this long ago gets the new members' strikes (+strikes): 1 hour by default.
Examples: +ancien 1d, +ancien 4h30m

Default level: Perm 3

+punish

  • +punish: Shows punishments applied after a certain amount of time
  • +punish add <number> <duration> <sanction> [duration]: Creates a punishment for members who receive a certain number of strikes within a given time
  • +punish del <number>: Deletes a punishment using its number on the list

A punishment reads "after N strikes within so long, this sanction": mute, tempmute, kick, ban or tempban, the temporary ones with their duration at the end. 5 punishments at most; on its own, +punish lists them, and del removes the one with the given number.
Examples: +punish add 3 1h tempmute 10m, +punish add 5 1d ban, +punish del 2

Default level: Perm 3 · Other names: +punishments, +punishment

+punish setup

  • +punish setup: Restores default punishments

It replaces your punishments with these: every offence mutes for 20 minutes, a 2nd one within 2 hours mutes for 2 hours, a 2nd one within 10 minutes bans for 1 day. A new member gets 2 strikes at once, so their first offence bans them for 1 day. Adjust afterwards with +punish.

Default level: Perm 3 · Other names: +punishments setup, +punishment setup

+antimassmention

  • +antimassmention <on/off>: Turns on/off Antimassmention
  • +antimassmention <number>: Sets the maximum number of mentions allowed in a single message

Counts the members mentioned in a single message: 6 by default. The message is deleted and added to its author's history.
Members with a permission (Perm 1 or higher) are not affected.
Examples: +antimassmention on, +antimassmention 10

Default level: Perm 3

The levels and names shown are the original ones: your server may have changed them (permissions, +alias). Every Gestion V2 command
