Your personal bot is yours: give it your community's name, picture and colour. These commands are kept for the bot's owners. Crow Tools answers in French: this guide quotes its buttons and messages as they appear.

In short

  • ;set profil: a panel for the name, the picture, the banner and the bio;
  • ;watch {ServerMembersCount} members: the bot is "watching" the server's member count;
  • ;theme red: its messages turn red.

The profile

The bot's profile panel

;set profil opens a panel with the bot's current profile (its banner, name, picture and bio, the "About me" text) and one button per element: Modifier le nom (name), Modifier la photo de profil (picture), Modifier la bannière (banner) and Modifier la bio (bio). Each button asks you for the new value and the panel shows the result; nothing changes on Discord until you click Enregistrer les modifications (save changes).

You can also change them one by one:

  • ;set name Guardian: a name of 2 to 32 characters, without #, : or @;
  • ;set pic with an attached picture, or a link to the picture (8 MB at most);
  • ;set banner, the same way;
  • ;set bio The community's bot; ;set bio none clears the bio.

2 changes per hour

Discord only allows 2 name, picture or banner changes per hour, and each opening of the panel counts as one. A bot verified by Discord can no longer change its name.

A profile for one server

The same commands with server only change the profile on this server: the others keep the bot's usual profile.

  • ;set server profil opens the same panel;
  • ;set server name Guardian, ;set server pic, ;set server banner, ;set server bio;
  • without a value, or with none, the bot goes back to its usual profile on this server.

These changes aren't limited to 2 per hour.

The status

  • ;online: online 🟢;
  • ;idle: idle 🌙;
  • ;dnd: do not disturb ⛔;
  • ;invisible: the bot shows as offline, but still works.

The activity

The activity shows under the bot's name:

Command The kind of activity
;playto Minecraft a game: the bot is playing Minecraft
;watch the community a video: the bot is watching the community
;listen your ideas music: the bot is listening to your ideas
;compet the tournament a competition: the bot is competing in the tournament
;stream the server a live stream: the bot is live, with a link to the chosen Twitch channel
;activity Welcome everyone! a custom status: Welcome everyone!
  • Several sentences: separate them with ,, and the bot shows them in turn, changing every few minutes: ;watch {ServerMembersCount} members,,type ;help.
  • Without text, the command keeps the current text and only changes the kind of activity.
  • ;streamurl twitch.tv/your_channel chooses the Twitch channel the "live" activity links to.
  • ;remove-activity removes the activity.

The activity's variables

These variables show a number that updates by itself. They count on the bot's biggest server.

Variable What it shows
{ServerMembersCount} the number of members
{OnlineMembersCount} the number of online members
{OfflineMembersCount} the number of offline members
{VocalMembersCount} the number of members in voice
{ServerBoostsCount} the number of boosts
{ServerLevel} the server's boost level
{ServerRolesCount} the number of roles
{ServerChannelsCount} the number of channels

The colour of the messages

;theme red changes the colour of the bot's messages (the colour bar on the left of its embeds). You can give:

  • a colour name, in English or French: red, sky blue, dark green, gold, lavender, blurple…;
  • a hex code: ;theme #5865F2;
  • random: a random colour on each message.

The colour applies to all of the bot's servers; ;settings global shows the current colour.

If it doesn't work

  • "Je ne peux pas changer de nom pour l'instant" (I can't change my name for now): you've reached the 2 changes per hour; the bot says how many minutes to wait.
  • "Ce nom est déjà utilisé par trop d'utilisateur" (this name is used by too many users): Discord refuses this name, pick another one.
  • "Ce format d'image n'est pas accepté" (this image format isn't accepted): use a PNG, JPG or GIF picture.
  • "Couleur invalide" (invalid colour): check the colour name's spelling, or use a hex code.
